You will also want to leave enough time for alterations for your bridesmaid dresses - usually at least two weeks to one month before the wedding.
Dress ColorsPlatinum is very popluar style at the moment, as well as the paler colors, pale yellows, pinks, sand, and taupe. There is also a trend toward chocolate brown, mocha, burgundy and hunter green for Fall weddings. However, when it doubt, you can never go wrong with Black--it is a classic!

A "color run" is also a fun way to go. That means that each bridesmaid wears a different color of the same dress. Each bridesmaid may pick a color she feels flatters her most. Just be sure to stay in the same tonal range (such as all pastels, all primary colors, etc.).
